JojoSorry if someone posted this but if my math is correct the regular scout pistol does roughly 54.7 dps after factoring in reloads. The new pocket pistol will do roughly 52.3 after reloads. That means that the dps over time is extremely similar while the pocket pistol has better burst damage up front and heals you for over 40 health a second if you hit all your shots. It averages out to around 24 health per second after reloads.

What the fuck.

Please remember that the pistol is so RNG that if you hit more then 30% of shots on average you are a god. 30% pistol is what quad hit, and he is seen as the best pistol scout in the history of the game by many. You will not be hitting those numbers in any realistic game or scenario. That being said it is probably better then stock and on par with winger. Id say combo scouts run winger because you already have heals, and flank can run PBPP because the chance for that burst HP can turn a flank fight to your favor.

While I do know I no next to nothing about how meta works or comp tf2 in general (people who were unfortunate enough to be in my pugchamp lobbies would know) isn't this a bit similar to what we have now, stalemates that usually go on for 3-8 minutes?

Difference being is these lasted the full 10 min to time out, on every last, the entire weekend. The average game time for that lan was like 50 min or something stupid with 80% of that being last holds. Yes last can be bad, but thats nothing compared to what s14 lan was.
