God I wish valve would just fucking nerf the god damn thing and stick to their guns about it. There's no reason a weapon designed for traps should destroy half a server by using low skill tactics. A sniper needs good aim to dominate. A spy needs to outsmart and outplay the enemy to dominate. A heavy and pyro needs positioning. Soldier needs a bit of timing and positioning. A demo just needs to equip booties then just hold down M2 and spam their M1 buttons. The fact he can deal ~80-90 damage in a split second will get rid of any need of positioning. You just need to be in a range where you don't need to charge the stickies. You don't need aim because of splash damage. You don't need to really outsmart or outplay the enemy because all your doing is holding down one button and spamming another. If you get a kritz medic then you are guaranteed to destroy the other team because one sticky immediately wipes out 8/9 classes 10/10 times at around 280-290 damage. Plus with the high damage output those random Crits are bound to happen. One lucky crit sticky can literally cancel a teams hard and coordinated push since it kills the entire team ending the capping. That nerf was better left alone because now they've shown the demo mains that if they complain enough nothing will be changed and they've shown the heavy mains they literally give 0 shits about them. You dun goofed valve. Sorry for ranting.

Can someone help explain borders to me? I'm trying to do something with borders for my hud, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.
hey flappy, is it possible to change the color of the green bar on top of the console? if so how?
hanbroloso I'm having some difficulty adding a border to my targetid. the method i went with was to simply replicate the black background i was using and make it '2' wider and '2' taller then adjust xpos/ypos accordingly and color it white. the only problem is that because the background resizes with the length of name of the person being 'targeted' it sometimes covers up the white background. why? the white one is 2 pixels wider so when it resizes (because it does resize) shouldn't it resize by the same amount? is there a better way to do a border that will resize? imgur album here. targetid code here.
use borders provided by tf2 in the clientschme.res, instead of using another background.
It looks really nice, but I don't think you can make the labels look like they are on an angle.
