Ive downloaded the explosion_original.vpk file and placed it in my custom folder. There are now 2 files there; explosion_original.vpk and explosion_original.sound.cache. However it doesn't actually work in game it still keeps the smoke that comes originally with the game. I run in dx8, not sure if that has an impact on it. Can someone help?

gemmit's just colour correction dude, if you want that ingame you'd need to tweak with your monitor settings or .icc profile or something
Can u help me do that? I do play on a laptop tho.
