Well, in order to power 75Hz, it has to drop resolution because it can't overdrive the whole monitor, only part of it. There's no fix to it. If you want 75Hz, the resolution must go down.

I think that any player with above UGC-steel experience (silver+) shouldn't be a newbie because at their level, just playing in general is all that is needed. It should be for players with little to no experience, not advanced exp.

I've always had the impression that all the players on IBP are kinda immature other than back when AdreN was with them. Swag and Ska literately not talking for entire maps, dazed screaming, and steel raging, aren't really good signs as to team maturity.
