I'm near sighted and everything more than 1.5 meters away from my face starts to get blurry. I don't really like using the glasses I have though and only really use them when I have to. I.E going to the cinema or being in class.

I had similar issues but without the video input issues.
Although my problems were related to a faulty ssd.

Might want to look into issues on both your gpu and hard drive.
It's where I would start looking.

I know this didn't help much but try going to the the place you bought your gpu at and see if they can find any issues with it. Good luck!

I have the fx8350 and I barely drop frames at all when I try streaming.
I mean, you literally have like 6 cores to spare when streaming on the 8350.

It's most likely just your stream setup that is shit because streaming on this cpu shouldn't hit your framerate that hard at all.

About 2 months ago valve updated something about tracers and the way those particles work so users who had an fov of 0 or like, -360 would crash when the tracers couldn't render or some magic shit like that.

Solution:

Don't use a negative or an "extreme" viewmodel_fov to hide tracers.

Use a normal viewmodel_fov like 90 and then r_drawviewmodel 0 and r_drawtracers_firstperson 0 if you want to play without tracers and or viewmodels.

Please post all your cfg files in paste bin links and put them here.

Post your launch options.

Check if your AV or firewall blocks the files from the community servers.

I refuse to believe all these invite players exclusively play comp tf2 for lan cash.

Do you actually just go there so you can get money? I mean, surely you didn't put in all these hours of practice in just so you could get a check from esea.
If going to lan hurts your wallet so much why don't you just not go?
Do your teammates force you to come or something? Like, what's stopping you from just chilling at home?

If going to lan is such a terrible experience unless you win you really need to rethink your life priorities.
Everything I've seen come out of the esea lans and every tf2 lan in general really, is a bunch of people getting together and having a good time.
