#6 The Palaise MGE Doubles Community Clash! in Projects

Hey Snack,

We're trialing this event in Australia this season, we're definitely keen on expanding internationally in the future. Depending on the reception of this event. So be sure to follow Palaise in the future and we will keep you posted on any developments that crop up!

Due to previous experience with players with high ping, we believe that allowing players with high ping will be detrimental to the experience. Both for the players with high latency and their opponents. We are looking for ways to include players far from Australia in future events. Unfortunately for this event, we are not allowing players that exhibit a consistent ping greater than 150. Thank you for your interest!

#1 The Palaise MGE Doubles Community Clash! in Projects

Calling all MGE Lords! Are you tired of everybody leaving the MGE server after you show your counter-jumping, shotgun stalling proficiency on Blands spire? Do you have a friend in your personal discord that has a vague grasp on how to use a mouse? Well good for you pal, It’s time to rope ‘em into participating in…

https://i.imgur.com/jmYtk47.png

Hosted over three days sure to be chock full of sick frags and embarrassing misfires. So clear up your March 17th weekend as this is going to be the ultimate TF2 smash up!

You, Probably“So, why should I participate in this when I can just play MGE normally?”

Hush up and listen. This event will impart over you:

  • A 150 Key Prize Pool! Triple Digits would you look at that! Buy an unusual to show everyone who’s boss or just gamble it all away on crates, it’s your choice!
(100 keys for The Champions, 30 keys for Runner-Up, 10 keys for those sad sacks in 3rd and 4th that could only manage to get to playoffs.)
  • Completely free to enter! No entry fee whatsoever! Join to get a sweet piece of this pie!
  • An exclusive In-Game Medal that shows everyone else on the server that “Yes, I DO play this game competently”
  • The ability to tell irl friends that you are a “professional TF2 gamer” (If you manage to win some keys that is)
  • The glory and the adulation of bodying that one pubber that you have an irrational grudge against
  • A slightly higher chance of being noticed by that High IM team you’ve been eyein’.
  • The very slight improvement to your dm skill that would follow after playing MGE for a day.
  • A chance to learn how to play with people other than yourself.

Okay enough MGE shitposting, here are some general details on the event. A complete list of rules and details on the event will be live on our Discord Server

Region: Oceania.
We want to allow as many teams as possible, but playing against 900 ping players wouldn’t be very enjoyable for either team. So there will be a ping limit of 150. People that consistently hit this limit will not be able to participate.

Key Dates:
We will take signups from February 17th until March 10th
The event will take place on March 17th weekend
Group A will be playing on the Saturday and Group B playing Sunday
Playoffs will be held the week after, on March 24th. All starting at 7PM AEST

Since teams can be eliminated, the amount of playtime each team will experience will vary based on their performance. Please be aware that you may need to be available for match play until 10:30 PM.

General Gameplay and Format:

This tournament consists of two stages. A group stage, and a knockout stage (Playoffs).
Both will be Double Elimination.
Teams will be assigned to one of two groups; Group A or Group B

All games will be best of 3 rounds
Standard games will be first to 10 points for a round
Points are earned whenever both members of a team dies.

Duos can consist of any combination of Scout, Soldier and Demo (Max 1 Demo)
POV demos will be mandatory for all participants
Whitelist at Whitelist.tf

Games will be played on these maps:

  • Product Mid
  • Badlands Mid
  • Process Mid
  • Gullywash Mid
  • Granary Last

Playoffs:

The Group Stage will conclude and playoffs will begin a week afterwards.
With the top two teams from each group, the fraglimit will be set at 20 and each round will be played on a different captain-selected arena.

Signups:
We will have a limit of 32 Teams maximum.
We will also be placing a requirement, all participants must have a minimum of 300 hours in TF2

This tournament will be hosted on Challonge, so to register you will need to have both an account with them, and to create a team here
Sign-Up your team here

We will also require teams to check in with on our Discord with their Steam IDs
This is for us to keep track of all the participants, and for us to give out the in-game badges after the event concludes.

Happy Fragging!

#1 Need help Editing loadout panel in Customization

I'm using a slightly modified version of RIETHUD Remastered, and am having trouble doing a couple of things.

I want to remove the On wearer attributes field, and resize the Taunt and Item Loadout buttons to about the same as the Red and Blu buttons and Move it upwards to just under them.
And also want to shift The double more than sight downwards slightly, to align it with the class name.

Also, is there a way to increase the size, angle and position of model preview in the loadout panel?
