While situations like this in the past may have not gotten anywhere near this level of attention and outcry, I’m glad this one did. I’d rather every toxic idiot who does stuff like this get called out than no one get called out and our community just accept it. Everything has to start somewhere.

I love these people. Syath is a good friend of mine and, when he’s dedicated is an amazing scout. I don’t have too much personal experience with mael but playing against him is always a pain since he just dicks me. Exile is a nice a nice boy and a great teammate to have with a good understanding of the game and the dm to compliment it well. Turkeylips is one of my favorite medics of all time, both in terms of skill and personality. Overall this is gonna be a great team. Grapesquad for life.

I’ve been called an n-word fucker and other shit multiple times and that’s just because I’m dating someone who happens to have dark skin. It doesn’t even directly affect me and it’s infuriating. The only reason for saying stuff like this is to be edgy, mean, and hurtful. Shit like this drives people away from our already small community. I’d rather lose idiots like this than uberchain (or tagg as well) who have poured their heart and souls into this game.

People always try to be edgy in serious/sad/etc situations and I still never know why. I can understand joking with friends to lighten the mood and make them feel better, but toxicity and racial slurs in the face of trying to promote serious discussion and betterment of our community? He’s a fucking savant Jesus Christ. Also a really cool dude and fun to talk to. Him not playing on a team next season would be a crime. I personally think he can hang with top open-low IM, but my experience with his scout is limited and he’s newer to 6s (yesterday was his first scrim ever I think) so keep that in mind.
