I have heard of a lot of players binding +jump,+duck to spacebar, and I don't see anything bad about that even though I choose not to use it.
Like most binds, it will make some aspects of your life easier, but its not necessary to be good at tf2.

Quick question about viewmodels

PizzaSo when you see weapons in weird places (Like a shotgun being held at a 90 degree angle from the soldier's hand), that's just the demo that messed up, or is it someone that customized the viewmodel to just not be in the way? I mean, why would that even be blocked by sv_pure?
AFAIK that's some sort of weird glitch in the demo. That is not how the player sees the viewmodel.
