Jimbo is a really fun soldier to play with. Definitely Mid Open roamer/pocket material.

Can you add league, division, timezone, etc?
seanbudread the netcode shit in chris's fps configs
I use Chris' and he just leaves it at 0 with no explanation of how anything works. I have no idea what interp means but multiple people have told me that for soldier, 0 is fine.
Would I hit more shots with .0152? How does that even work?
I think pyro is way underpowered. Honestly, pyro has very little place in competition compared to scouts, soldiers, demos, snipers, and heavies. Honestly, I think pyro, engineer (without unlocks), and spy are pretty underpowered in general, especially for 5CP, where speed makes a huge difference.
Pyro is just too slow to be useful. It has no response to mid range attacks (something that scout, soldier and demo are very decent at), and while it's DPS is decent if you hit everything, there are lots of limitations on the usefulness of pyro.
I wish pyro was a more viable class since I like using some mechanics of pyro (airblasting ubers, airblasting away spam, using ubers to run into crowds of enemies in HL and M1). There just isn't enough going for pyro to make it a class that will make a huge difference in a game. Take any good HL pyro and replace him with a scout of the same skill level and the scout will win a match for a team, while as pyro, it's very hard to do so.
I think trying to stay alive during SOAP DM is probably one of the best ways to practice this. One of my friends who's an IM scout told me about how he would just spend all his time in pregame (when SOAP was enabled) just dodging people instead of trying to kill everyone to practice movement.
I'll change it to categorizing.
I've been hosting newbie mixes again.
turtsmcgurtsi feel like this is just a scare tactic.
what are they going to do, cancel and lose hundreds/thousands of customers?
There are so few providers and so many customers that demand for an ISP is fairly inelastic. They know this and know they can do whatever the fuck they want with little consequence to their bottom line. That is why they come up with this bullshit that is obviously horrible for consumers.
Radium is definitely a guy to watch. He is very serious about winning and getting better and I think he's probably one of the best team manager's/captain's in Open. The rest of this team looks pretty strong and they are definitely capable of making playoffs (probably even winning a match in playoffs given the right pocket IMO).
We should just make a steam group to fill these.
I could probably go if I got some people from Amherst to go with.
I usually have the scouts call the combo and I bomb straight onto the demo and the med. Even if you don't get kills it's not hard to put down at least 100 damage on both (usually more since Gran is pretty hard to see people coming when you are coming right out of choke or garage.
Yeah they are!
Just show up to mumble and you'll be all set :)
What division are you in? I'll play Steel demo or scout if you need one.
Kang is a great scout and sniper. Back when he played with us (S11) we had no strats and he still performed pretty well. Definitely could be on a high Open or low IM team.
