me and perfection knew we were fucking with each other is another bit of context i think went unrecognized, none of it was serious. like we're on good terms and shit, and agree it was just banter. it was all in good fun, i really don't get the need for this thread with all that in mind.
wanna be really clear that i only said the don't be sexist shit because after channels were delinked, someone messaged me saying perfection was saying "really heinous shit", which i interpretted as he was being sexist. I am all for shit talk (obv), and apparently he just called me fat and ugly (which is fine, not bannable or anything), but i thought he was saying sexist shit which is crossing a line. i also ended it in the first place because people in the mumble were complaining about the pug starting, so i wanted to let things end for them to start. idk if the video shows it but in between me shit talking him he literally shit talks me back, says i'm bad and got carried to invite and that no one likes me and stuff. the real situation isn't just me railing on him, we were going back and forth.
i really don't get why i'm in the wrong here, we were shit talking eachother, i brought up shit about my life cause perfections a neet. He spends all night shit talking others, why is it when i do it i get a video made about me? is it because i had emotion in my voice? it's literally just shit talk.
Nothing i did here has anything to do with me being an rgl admin. Anything with perfection in the future I will sit out of discussions to avoid bias. I was pugging on my own time away from rgl, I think i'm allowed to shit talk if others are shit talking as well.

Welcome to the “Draftomatic Cup” generously sponsored by fx. This is the inaugural RESUP event before LHTF2 LAN, meant to stir up a little bit of excitement and put a bit of cash in the pockets of players that may be traveling to LAN soon. If you’ve ever wondered what it might look like to split up the rosters of top teams, you won’t want to miss this! Saturday 1/22/22, 9pm EST to ~1am EST
4-team double elimination bracket
BO1 matches until BO3 grand finals

Captains will be b4nny, habib, jay, laz
Picking order will be drawn randomly, then follow a snake pattern (1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, etc)
Draft will occur on Thursday 1/20/22 at ~12am EST

CAP_CREATUREEvery season there is always some list of the existing teams that I ask some guy who knows a guy who gives me the list and by the end of the pre-season everyone has the list anyways can we just have that list posted when its made because it helps us make scrims with people and it helps lft people find tryouts.
Added to the OP, spreadsheet is a work in progress but you can check that for what I have. I'll start linking rgl/steam pages and schedulers in the next day or two (hopefully).
As to the map discussion, I wanna establish two things:
First, in regards to the invite map pool, we're letting invite vote out/vote in maps based on the league wide map pool. For example, out of the 8 league wide maps, invite may vote out 2 of them and vote in 3 more. With this, they could vote out reckoner or metalworks, and vote back in bagel, granary, and badlands. It's up to them entirely.
Second, in regards to the league wide map pool, we do do surveys and are trying our best to find what maps people enjoy and which they don't enjoy (see villa being completely removed from the map pool in place of reckoner). We're going to give reckoner another season before reconsidering it's place, and similarly the koth rotation is something we are testing based on survey results as well.

Map results like these are why we are letting invite deviate from the regular map pool, as often invite's statistics vary greatly from the rest of the league. It also lets invite test out new things (such as granary) so we can consider adding it to the general map pool next time we revise it. However as is, we do want to give reckoner another season.
Playoffs aren't at LAN this season, they're just going to be tournament style.
Map pool for every div besides invite should be the same with product swapped for bagel.

clckwrkI think surveys like this are hard to trust when it's so easy to brigade your way to influence the votes. If b4nny hypothetically pasted this poll in his chat and either told his viewers to vote to not ban the spoon or tactically expressed his opinion and "left it up to them," what does this say about the integrity of the voting? Hopefully something like that would be a violation regardless, but it's very easy for anyone with tf2 social capital to influence opinions and at that point it's hardly a democratic result. I'm not really sure what the solution is, but my first impression is that it makes much more sense to me for the league to either contact a representative from each team and ask them or just make the decision themselves based on whether or not it's affecting signups or something.
We're typically very careful about how we analyze survey results like this. This time, we're specifically looking at how members of each div voted, and tracking how that changes as you move from lower to higher divs. Furthermore, you also had to have played last season to vote, so that helps a bit. I do get your concerns though, and I'll make sure we consider those moving forward.

huh, weird that it does that, as the overall records for both teams was still correct and banny submitted the correct scores. will look into this.
edit: should be fixed. Sigafoo was updated some stuff with the site, and for this match the home/away teams got flopped. Since the site stores map result data to home/away teams, and not the teams themselves directly, it flopped how the scores appeared.
