As the title says, I'm looking for a mentor. I am fairly new (I've never played anything other than like 12 6s lobbies)and i really want to play more competitively/get better in a more efficient way. Since i don't really play 6s that much yet, I cant be certain ill stick to one role, but currently i want to improve as a roamer. I'll probably need help with just about everything. (comms, rollouts, positioning, dm etc.)
EDIT: The only thing I do in tf2 currently is MGE.

Holy shit this is just the thing i needed.
This is great, finally an na based tourney that we euros dont need to be awake at like 3 am to play in. This is gonna be my breakout tourney. Then, I will conquer skial.
I'm a huge wow lore nerd. I also play wow. I dont know how many hours I've spent on wowpedia.
So lately I've been wondering why the hell people are such butt holes to people that "suck" at MGE. This is probably more of a rant than anything else, but please explain this to me.
In my mind, the best way to improve at something is practice with people that are better than you at that specific thing. Then, it makes no sense for people who are "good" at mge to not want to play vs. someone who clearly is no way near their level of dm and generally be an asshole about it. This has happened to me personally, but I use it as a kind of motivation to keep going. However, there are those newer people, who maybe don't see things the same way I do and are not horrible losers like myself. Being treated like a piece of shit and told not to play is a real big kick in the balls to those newer people.
I see MGE as a gateway to competitive tf2, as well as a way of improving dm. Why do you have to be an asshole to someone who wants to improve?
Not dressing up as anything, my friends tell me that i'm scary enough when i don't dress up.^^. On a serious note, here in the cold north we don't really celebrate Halloween, sure people use it as an excuse to get drunk, but not many people go out trick or treating. Its a shame, it really is fun.
Its ok. Im not that big of a fan of the vocals.
You often think about humankind and its destiny

So I've been dealing with anger issues for as long as I can remember. Of course this translates to gaming as well. This is incredibly frustrating for me since right now I have a burning desire to improve, but I'll get mad at myself whenever I mge/lobby. I used to slam my hand into my keyboard, but that broke recently, so I'm forced to use the keyboard on my laptop. This means I cant slam my keyboard anymore without running a huge risk of breaking my pc. I know slamming my keyboard is not a very good way of getting out with my anger. So, do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to suppress/deal with my anger?
