lawena still works fine, but at least in my case i dont actually record with it anymore
lawena is sick for when you have a garbo pc that cant run tf2 decently on a nice looking config, but nowadays most computers are good enough to where this isnt as much of a concern as it was in 2014
if you want things to look nice opening the game with lawena and then recording with shadowplay/obs more than gets the job done
ive never used avi recorder myself but if you wanna go down the lawena route of a billion .tga files it seems to me like the best option

incredible channel for a white boy like me
tf2 has been a really important escape for me throughout my teen years
being forced to work together with people from all over europe (and the rest of the world to a lesser extent) has taught me many very valuable lessons about who i am and how different people can be
thank you for this update
god bless you all
american quest to say the n word episode 5624
honestly there isnt much to do besides playing the game more, consistency will come with time
if you want to get into competitive the best way is frankly just to start playing, either on tf2center or through some newbie mixes, or both
especially as soldier the barrier for entry is largely the ability to perform basic rocket jumps, most of the time the most fancy jump you will need to perform in a competitive game is the process rollout, if you can do that, youre gonna be alright
if you want to practice outside actual games and mge isnt your thing then id recommend trying dm servers and frankly pubs can also work just fine
as it is right now with the event still not being cancelled, im personally leaning towards cancellation of the event not happening as of right now since currently there doesnt seem to be a push for further regulations
HOWEVER
i did do some digging on the danish ministry of foreign affairs website in regards to regulations upon entering the country
https://en.coronasmitte.dk/travel-rules <- website found here if you wanna look for yourself, alternatively your own countries embassy in denmark/ministry of foreign affairs probably has info aswell, i would highly recommend checking both sides
as it stands right now, a negative test is required when entering denmark from both the schengen area and oecd countries however, if you are not vaccinated and are travelling from a country not in the schengen area (ie. the uk) you will have to isolate for 10 days
this is of course what the rules are right now, and they will probably change before april, but as it stands right now i dont see them changing too much
tldr: get vaccinated, get tested, preferably pcr, before you go to denmark and make sure to check for any regulations when returning home as well
