Black main menu background, cant open console

please don't bump a thread that's only an hour old
1. For the console issue, if you hit your console key (idk what it is by default on a russian keyboard, Ë maybe) a few times does it appear?
2. For the server browser stuff, are you saying that the "Find a Game" and quit button in the top bar aren't working?
3. For #2, did those buttons suddenly stop working, or did they never work?
In either case, another potential solution is to just back up your config files/etc and reinstall TF2 to see if it resolves the issue.
