I don't understand this logic. You don't need to shell out for something as needlessly expensive as an Alienware computer - you can get a decent rig for about 1.5 times the price of one of the new-gen consoles, which would perform significantly better.
Maybe someone could not afford a new computer at all, and certain things were marginally more vital. Or other sources of entertainment could be built up over time instead. Or that an xbox was bought first then all those other things happened.

I think there is enough of people spawning into getting shot in the back with 8s. It feels like 8 is probably the best number. Adding more people on new maps only makes the experience more exotic. With the added benefit of the possibility of an all out war every now and then. It certainly seems like a good idea until someone experiences multiple competent demomen shooting at them.

Except this is not even close to how real player progression tends to play out.
Point of reference slightly to the contrary. When I migrated over to PC, around summer before last, i started with TF2lobby, then TF2mix, then pug.na and got recruited to my first open team from there. I did play some UGC with friends before that last part though.

If you would notice, Sherman at no point curses nor uses a racial slur. Instead he just yells. Also, he utilizes some of that communication degree and stares directly into the camera while speaking coherently. It just happens that he is yelling and describes Crabtree's skills as deficient. Looking at the habits of the 49ers receivers (looking at you Boldin) the trash talking probably went both ways throughout the game.
Back to the main point. At no point does he use a racial slur. Or Curse.
