csgo is the same engine, so it has similar movement and good teamplay. quake is more similar in terms of gunplay though

it was ok but probably only because i like both foods, not sure they worked together too well

probably any old player who had good mechanics like yz50 would be able to learn the meta if they put their mind to it. some old players have come back from a hiatus have played at a decent level after a short while (cookye, alba and especially smzi)

you could ask kaidus to show it on stream, played against him yesterday and he gets super fast rollouts where he'd have like 2-3 stickies in our choke before we got there

I'm sure there would be serious testing if, say, in one of the etf2l map cups the admins said something like 'one of the maps from this tournament WILL be in the season'. That would probably force people to play the maps and practice them, usually I just ignore these map cups because the maps are not taken further 99% of the time.

You know how some people say granary is 7cp? This map is like 9cp. There is so much useless space between points that just means more transition time and will probably lead to more difficult/longer pushes when teams learn to play this map, it also leads to nutty sniper sightlines. Also, there are a million hiding spots to check when pushing so you don't get backcapped or just shot in the back by a hiding scout when you're trying to push out, this also slows your pushes.
