#29 Future Toronto LANs Discussion in LAN Discussion
-protoa lan in guelph would not bring nearly as many people out as a lan in toronto, im shocked at the number of people thinking it would be a good place to host a lan. id imagine we could have twice the people if it was hosted in a core gta city like toronto or mississauga.

I mostly pointed it out because there are already LANs at the university from the school's club, not because I think it'd be a good place to host a separate LAN

but I agree, core city is best

#20 Future Toronto LANs Discussion in LAN Discussion

If there are any LANs at the university in the next little while, guelphers (and beyond) should go to that at some point too. idk which of you go to conestoga, the university or don't go to school, but even when I'm on a work term like this I live relatively close so I could hit anything like that.

or link up for drinks that could work too

#16 Future Toronto LANs Discussion in LAN Discussion
megawacI vote anything but Jan/Feb and getting a hall would be pretty sweet. Also I could bring a couple people from kW/Guelph when details are figured out

Btw there is https://lantastic.ca/ in a couple weeks in waterloo

guelllllllllllllllllllllph

I live in Cambridge but if this happens, we should carpool. otherwise I'll spend a fortune on dumb bus tickets like I did for fanexpo

also now that I don't have midterms during lan events (THANKS HIDI) or other events like that, I should 100% be able to go if a lan happened in the next little while

#155 ESEA-O S23 Happenings/Discussion in TF2 General Discussion
fen_I dont see a problem with it i dont feel bad when player better than me give me shit. mason bashing people two seasons ago was great lol, and there have been sandbaggin invite teams that still have lost before.

its our chance to prove em wrong

yeah, playing against mason's team that season and having the pretty tight games in playoffs was by far the most fun end to a season and loss I've had in esea so far

plus mason demo reviewed for us after which was really cool of him

#3 spring rolls lft open med in Recruitment (looking for team)

spring could do a lot better than low-mid on scout or med, has great hitscan and picks stuff up quick. would pound on at least a bubble team, if not a decent playoff open team. super cool guy though, you can't get much more chill than him :D

#2 Brimstone lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

Brim was a good pocket at the start of the season and before, but it really wasn't until the later part of the season where something must've clicked. He makes space for his team on every push and often does a lot of work on his own if his bombs are ignored, and his calling seems to have gotten a lot better too. Definitely a strong pocket!

But he's pretty cool :]

#65 tftv safe space (no harassment plz) in Off Topic

I'm paranoid as fuck and have a nearly impossible time relying on people or trusting them so I solve my problems on my own 100% of the time, and I hate when my paranoia hurts others or causes me to make stupid decisions as has been the case recently

EDIT: I also miss watching anime it was a pretty solid medium for art :(

#7 Keith LFT IM in Recruitment (looking for team)

i'd say he's pretty smart or has good dm, but my favourite thing about keith is that he plays his heart out when it counts and gets so invested into the game that if you're a team that still loves the game, it'd make him the perfect pickup.

#23 moy lft demo in Recruitment (looking for team)

didn't play against a super wide variety of players on sys2 this season but moy was definitely the most impressive demo I played against in scrims (both open and IM), plays pretty decently in most normal pushes but he really excels at FAT MIDFIGHTS

helps that his rollouts are flawless
