quintoshiirc you just put the plugins into your custom folder (for example /tf/custom/sourcemod/addons) and launch tf2 with -insecure and then launch a listen server the same way you would usually do
ofc this includes installing sourcemod properly
if you need help doing that then add me on steam
Well i've tried all the ways i know of on how to install sourcemod and the plugin im trying isn't working.
Also is there a way to know if sourcemod i running just incase i installed the plugin wrong.
platinumgodI don't think you have to have a dedicated server to test plugins.
I believe this thread addresses having Sourcemod work on a listen server.

I would prefer a video as that is confusing...
So i want to make a server just to test plugins and things without having other players on it but can't seem to find a video for 2016? Can anyone give me a link on how to create a server that works still?
Sooo i know itemtest does unusual hats and taunt effects.
But is there a way to test unusual effects on weapons? I realised when your in item test and choose a unusual effect for the hat your testing isotope, hot, cool and energy orb are in the list but when you click apply items you have no unusual effect and console says some strange error stuff about weapon_unusual_isotope.
So is there anyway to test unusual weapons without just looking at it in sfm?
