Good luck! Will look forward to see Soooooapymeister on pocket! ;)
I would like to see certain maps that were played in 6s before to be played more in today's meta and playstyle, but I know if wouldn't probably work, since the format and the game itself has evolved a lot.
RockzZ0rpi- 80 / 81been using dx80 for years and havent had any crashes, i advise on trying it- all corestf2 wont utilize them, it runs on like 2 cores and some random thread- antivirusunless you download random files or go to malicious sites, there's really no point in using one
I'm sorry, i haven't described it well. Not sure if all have been fixed after Jungle Inferno, but there have been some graphical bugs happening for users with DX8.0, which have been fixed in DX81.
Probably won't make as much of a difference ingame to make it playable from unplayable :(
- Using DX level 81. Although you cannot see weapon skins and sheens, it gives pretty noticeable boost of FPS to the game, while also making things like medi gun beam (If you are playing with the beam turned on) or crossbow arrow trails more visible.
DX 80 is literally the same, but much less stable, so please use DX81 instead.
You can use this by either typing "mat_dxlevel 81" to your .cfg file, or "-dxlevel 81" to your TF2 launch options bar on Steam.
- Make sure your PC uses all cores of your CPU.
- Set an exception for tf folders in your antivirus settings.
Been playing the game for some time now, and never heard of this.
Thanks for posting.
