what hud is this ?

It's his own edit of PVHUD. I don't have an up to date link though, best to message zesty on here or twitch I suppose.

#5582 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization

Did you try messing around with the animation for the Shade element?

It's called CasualCategory_Selected in hudanimations, try disabling that maybe?

#5577 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization

somewhere in the same health and ammo files there'll be some part called healthBG and ammoBG, or similar, decrease the tall and wide values of those to make the box smaller.

HogosakiIn terminal hud how get rid of the health and ammo (I only want the numbers)

In hudplayerhealth.res there shoujld be a part that has the line "labeltext" "HEALTH" and in hudammoweapons there should be the same with "AMMO". Make both of them visible and enabled 0.

#5640 Show your HUD modifications! in Customization
CamusFinal version (maybe)

Spectator panels

Dropshadows on the playernames/HP could be a nice addition/option just in case there's a super bright part of process/people with high mat_monitorgamma values.

Looks sick man.

Have you tried adding "alpha" "0" or a low value to the playerpanels_kv part of hudtournament?

That might make every element within the box transparent, not sure though.

In one of the res files, possibly the default iteam effect meter one, there is a part called "x_base_offset" or something very similar, look through the files and remove that maybe?

#2 How to edit health and ammo size? in Customization

http://www.teamfortress.tv/19073/hud-editing-short-questions-quick-answers

You edit the font called "HudFontGiantBold" that is named in PlayerStatusHealthValueSelf in hudplayerhealth.res, the font itself is in clientscheme.res, change the tall value and restart the game and it'll change.

Do the same for Ammo, the font name will be in hudammoweapons.res, the fonts are HudFontGiantBold and HudFontMediumSmall.

#3017 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Asked him and he said he'd like to build now, but is ok using my old GPU as a placeholder till the new GPUs come out.

He also said he's ok to change the budget to £900, so there's a little more room to play with.

Apparently he's only quit solo games and will still play team games.

#3015 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Yo I'm helping another friend build a PC.

His budget is £800, including a 144hz monitor.
His main game is pretty much Destiny 2, but would like to be able to run AAA games at medium (or low if needed) settings, as close to, or above, 144fps. He won't really be doing much else on the PC but gaming and uni work, so no need for huge amounts of RAM or loads of cores.

He's got no existing parts but I think an SSD, probably 128 or 256GB and a 1TB HDD should be fine. If overclocking will actually be worth it, then I'd say overclocking is a yes.

No real preference on form factor either.

Any recommendations on where to start?
