If they were smart enough to figure out how to enable it they're probably smart enough to realize it's disabled. That being said I'm not your mom so if you can figure out the model name/number of your router you can probably disable it if they haven't changed the default login settings.

I'd recommend returning the K1. Did some quick googling and it seems like several people are having problems with it on mobile devices. The Fiio Q1 Mk II would be what I'd go for, but it's a little more expensive and idk if you wanna spend that much.
