Is there anything else I can do to make my game look even better than ultra that works in all severs?
Also I personally find that particle effects are beneficial to my overall awareness of where things are ie: sticky bombs. Should I not use the '-particles 1' launch option?
jjjones
While your post is incredibly well reasoned the boots you posted are made of iron where as boots made with the intention of being blast resistant would much more likely be made of steel, a metal which is somewhat lighter than iron.
one of the tf2 players of all time
muma and saam are still two of the most fun to be around people I have ever met in tf2.
bearodactylstupid question but is there an easy way to update the config? I have a version from 2018 but I couldn't figure out how to do it while keeping my current config.cfg and stuff (also maybe i downloaded an early version which works differently but im p sure mine just uses different cfg files and i dont have any .vpk files or whatever other format the new configs are in)
checked the documentataion as well and didn't see a single thing about updating, seems like it should be a pretty important thing to document (but maybe the config doesnt change much and it's not a big deal)

just drag in the new vpks and delete the old, the clean up process is no longer required.
hoolisure you can use a whole ass other button but if you need a script in the first place then you probably can't ctap without it
why would i possibly need to ctap without a script? am i the next contestant on some weird tf2 gameshow with challenges?
hoolii disagree with #2 sometimes you want to rj normally because it's faster than waiting the 150ms or w/e delay is that is required to ctap. if you don't care about that level of control then yeah scripts are fine.
you do know a ctap script is a whole ass other button right?
DwapkingaboOodcrouch + jump script is nice, you don't need to keep extending your finger to the CTRL key.
Binding crouch to shift helps a lot with pinkie pain too.
aieractap script
Can u link me one? I've never gotten those to work properly.
//ctap
//Made with cfg.tf - custom Team Fortress 2 config generator
// +attack only calls spec_next when directly bound to a key
alias +ctap_attack "+attack; spec_next"
alias -ctap_attack -attack
alias +ctap_rj "-duck; +jump; +ctap_attack"
alias -ctap_rj "-jump; -ctap_attack; bind mouse1 +ctap_attack"
alias +ctap "+duck; bind mouse1 +ctap_rj; spec_prev"
alias -ctap -duck
bind mouse2 +ctap
credit to https://cfg.tf just change it to whatever button you prefer (i use mouse4)
ctap script is good if you have slow hands or rsi, you can ctap on detonator too btw, it is adjustable to different pings as well, every anti-ctap script post is honestly cope, unscripted ctaps aren't "better" both methods work fine.
jumpbug script is used by most jumpers and can be used in game to live fall damage once every thousand times
winger jump script is good honestly
Please fix or replace reckoner post #3.
Even if you want to respect phi's wishes granary and bagel are both proven maps that are in the pool last season
