Trolling set aside bape is an idiot kid can't do shit unless you tell him explicitly. I remember back on our process scrims he would always want to lead the ubers even though he plays demo. It literally took a match and the break to get it in his skull. So I doubt he would do it.

I see where crumpet is coming from. He isn't a moron who trades a virtual hat for real money. Since you found out it was a kid that's basically being stupid. If the kid was smart enough he would have kept the hat and just go on about his life, but no when you dramatize a kid thinking that if he doesn't give the hat back he will be in hell of trouble about something over the Internet.
