#3 Any good headsets w/ a good mic? in Q/A Help

Since you live in the us

https://www.amazon.com/Superlux-HD668B-Dynamic-Semi-Open-Headphones/dp/B003JOETX8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494579735&sr=8-1&keywords=superlux+hd+668b

https://www.amazon.com/Zalman-Zm-Mic1-Sensitivity-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B00029MTMQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1494579754&sr=1-1&keywords=zalman+zm-mic1

40 dollar headphones and 7 dollar microphone and will beat any headset

You can pay more for a microphone if you feel like it and get a modmic for 50 dollars but the zalman will be good enough.

Scrambleddt 990 pros are pretty good :)

but there's nowhere good for the modmic to stick on it really, the open back means that the glue doesn't hold.

A little patch of duck tape and that should be solved ;)

smokeealbaHow's the positional audio in the dt 770? They are closed IIRC. Also 80 oihms or 250 ohms, whats the difference in sound? I do have a headphone amp.the positioning is surprisingly good for them being closed, but of course they're not gonna be as great as an open-eared set
80 vs 250 isn't really noticeable without an amp, but definitely worth it for anyone who cares to own one.

Thanks!

I will do alot of reading and watch alot of reviews and decide which ones to get :D

I was thinking about T50RP MK3 for a good while but I would probably need a new stronger headphone amp and they are a hassle to get in sweden. Also I heard T50RP MK3 mayflower 1 mod is very nice

smokeepersonal suggestions (amazon US prices)
sennheiser hd 558 (open-ear) - $100
brainwavz hm5 - $110
m-audio hdh50 - $140-150
beyerdynamic dt 770 pro - $180

i've used all of these cans (currently use the dt 770's) and they've all delivered some of the best sound quality imo

How's the positional audio in the dt 770? They are closed IIRC. Also 80 oihms or 250 ohms, whats the difference in sound? I do have a headphone amp.

#1 Headphones not a flashy headset with LED's in Hardware

Hello,

I'm searching for a new pair of headphones. I don't want a headset with a built in microphone since I'm using the modmic. I need some tips on a good pair of headphones in the 100-200 pricerange more or less. Most recently I've used Audio Technica ATH-M50x and AKG K612 pro. All suggestions are appreciated!

Karlwhy do people water cool and buy unlocked cpus when they are not overclocking?

If you are asking me I haven't had the time/motivation to do it yet but always planned to do it.

ASUS GeForce STRIX GTX 970 4GB
Intel Core i5 6600K 3.5 GHz
Corsair Hydro H100i
ASUS Z170-P- ATX
Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 (2x8GB)
NZXT H440W Silent Ultra New Edition Window Black/Red
Corsair TX 750W M

I get about 250 - 300fps in mid fights. I use comanglias max frames for high quality pcs. Intrested in knowing how to get more fps if thats possible without doing too extreme things. Plaanning to clock cpu but havent had the time to do required benchmarking. Does clocking cpu help tf2 since tf2 is very cpu oriented?
