dflameSo when you did the clean install of windows and re-installed steam, did you have tf2 on a external hard-drive or something and just dragged and dropped the files from the external to your main hard-drive. If so try "Verifying the Integrity of Game Cache" in your tf2 options on steam. EDIT: Try this even if you didn't use an external hard-drive.
verifying didn't work for me last night in pug.na but i'll see how it goes when i play tonight
marc01- Go to your computer properties (there are many ways to do this, my favorite is Start+Pause on the keyboard. You can also right-click "Computer" and go to Properties).2- Advanced System Properties.3- For Performance, click Settings.4- Click on "Data Execution Prevention" tab.5- Turn on DEP, Apply, OK, OK, close the system properties Window. This work for me ;)
