According to some further analysis, this can also occur with latin alphabets too, albeit rarely.

Is this more of a source engine quirk?
For some reason, when tf2 renders Korean text, it randomly gets clipped.

For the voice command picture:
1, 4, & 8 all clip in the beginning character on the left (메, 이, 아, respectively)
5 & 6 clip on these characters: 이, 라 (halfway in, and last char)
This only happens with Korean text. There was no clipping when I tried Mandarin, Japanese, Ukranian, and Romanian.
The only possible thing I've seen so far is in the default HUD font files: there's no range for Korean. Other than that, I have no idea what could be causing this.
Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?
