One of my really good friends who I talk to quite often who has insane fucking DM. I definitely think he can tear it up in IM playoffs.

End of season bump
Season's over for me, will have infinite time to try out now.
hmu
Yeah, wondering when it's going to get fixed.
400 dpi
3.5 In game
0.0185 m_yaw
Inches Per 360: 13.9 (At least horizontally)
Main: Scout
Somewhat disappointing news that IM's skill ceiling is going to lower a bit due to the invite slots filling up and many teams dying, but I'm still happy that we're around for another season regardless.
bump again
Inom_yaw and m_pitch should only be changed if you don't want them to be the same, so only of you want a different x- and y-sensitivity. I don't really think that is in any way beneficial, so I would not recommend it.
If you don't want them to be different then there is really no point in changing yaw and pitch because they are just a multiplier for your sensitivity, so any change can be done by changing that.
But aren't they locked anyway?
I'm not saying it's something that he absolutely NEEDS to do, but I don't think it's something he should necessarily rule out like a lot of people do. I've actually found that messing with my m_yaw has been beneficial to me personally, but again, personal choice.
Also, no, they're not locked.
Like others have said, there is honestly no real answer besides "play with what you're comfortable with"
With that being said, I definitely think that in regards to sensitivity, you should NOT rule out fucking with your m_yaw or m_pitch. Utilize every possible resource you can to find what works for you.
Gonna hop on the quake bandwagon and just say play that. tracking is a big part of that game, and your sensitivity carries over as well.
bamp again
JoesMonkeyLand_KermitWhat'd be nice is if they communicated with us
Honestly just something from them would be reassuring.

They are communicating with us. Maybe not as much as we would like, but don't pretend like they aren't doing anything.

It's still not enough. Two spaced out blog posts and a video from 2 years ago about the general communication ethic from valve are not reassuring, especially since the updates we ARE getting are focusing on things that at the moment (viewmodels restrictions, hat particles, cloak bug fixing for character models with spy when he's disguised), have far less importance when compared to say, the disgusting amount of hackers present, or the fact that the voice codec is terrible and delayed, or even the fact that the options that brand new players start off with in the game are godawful (75 FOV, no hit-sounds or actually visible damage numbers).
It doesn't really matter if Jill and Eric read every post on the forum. Unless they are actively talking back and forth with us, telling us what they can, cannot and will not do, none of it matters in the slightest.
Whenever this happens to me, I try to just power through it, though I can't say it's the healthiest thing to do. It might be in your best interest to do what others suggest and take a break for a day or two, then get back to things.
