ZimmyDo they have different names? When you copy over the scoreboard you want to use, you have to rename it to "Scoreboard.res"
Ohh, cause they're named like scoreboard 900, scoreboard 780, scoreboard 1080 etc.
Thanks for your help man!

ZimmyWhat do you mean it needs to be installed?
The maker of ells hud, Ell (I think) made different scoreboards for different resolutions, because of some bug.
Ell's hud is a hud I really like but I always have the same problem, the scoreboard needs to be installed, and I have absolutely no fricking idea how to do it. I've tried Putting it in Resources/ui (my res is 1600x900) But that doesn't work. Help?
Thanks

Thanks alot man, I really appreciate that!

Thanks, but none of those huds are what grape is using, but thannks anyways! :)
So Grape has changed hud again, and I tjink it looks interesting. I've checked, it's not one of the Garm3n Quake huds.
If anyone knows what HUD it is, I would greatly aprreciate if you'd contact me.

seekerThe guide over on ETF2L is a little outdated and some of the links are dead, so I'll rewrite a more concise one here.
This crosshair is achieved by using a custom font file called "tf2cross" which has the letter "x" replaced with a replica of the in-game crosshair. You need a copy of the font file (tf2cross) which is available on my ftp here:
http://users.on.net/~seeeker/tf2cross/
This needs to be placed in /tf/resource. I chose to install the ttf file too.
The pastie links below need to be placed in your ClientScheme.res in the Fonts and Custom Fonts section (I'm assuming you already have a custom hud and this file exists). Your choice if you want to use the outline or not - it looks smoother without.
http://pastie.org/private/s3qyhdrilbnnwlgqwqfg
This goes into HudLayout.res.
http://pastie.org/private/oo0mx4cuqquqeqe3ont8za
The above two links are optimised for 1920x1080 - if you toggle the default crosshair on and off (as scout) you won't be able to notice it, as the custom tf2cross overlaps the stock crosshair completely. Its important to modify the 'tall' value in ClientScheme.res as well as the x/ypos in HudLayout.res if you want to get its positioning perfect.
Here is an image with outline on
http://users.on.net/~seeeker/tf2cross/guide_images/tf2cross_border.jpg
Here is an image with outline off (had dx8 by accident sry)
http://users.on.net/~seeeker/tf2cross/guide_images/tf2cross_noborder.jpg
Let me know if you need any more help with it, I can probably give you perfect values to use that'll replicate the standard crosshair depending on your resolution.
Can you or someone upload a link of this crosshair without outline in broeselhud? Whenever I try to do it, the whole HUD disappears, the dmg numbers, everything. All that stays is the chat. Help?
CapslockedFirst he didnt make it himself ;)

Seeker did this I think ;) (quoted from this thread: http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/1189-hook-me-up-with-this-crosshair)
Wow, thanks Capslocked, I will make great use of this! Thank you very much!
Toonii'm pretty sure he made it himself. it's in his hud that you can download off of his stream
OK, so he made it himself, but the HUD download leads to m0rehud, which is obviously not what he uses unless he heavily modified it.
But thanks for the info, I will use effect of it.
Thanks.
Here's a link to stark62's stream, with the crosshair in action.
Hello, I really like this crosshair (some wings crosshair Stark62 uses)
halpplis.jpg
does anyone know what crosshair it is, and what hud it is in?
I've checked, and I don't think it's fog's crosshairs.
Help?
I've been looking around for knhud recently, but I can't seem to find a single download for it.
Yes, I've checked my internet, and nothing's wrong there. Whenever I try to go http://www.rdyup.org/knhud/ It says error:page not found.
Did Alvar Jones ( http://steamcommunity.com/id/RAWKSTEADY ) put it down?
Any recent downloads of it? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Toonitonmasasaptf2Tooniis there any way to get the crosshair perfectly centred at 1680x1050? Mines a couple of pixels off which is really bugging me :/Can you upload that? hud of yours?
snip
Looks like m0rehud
actually it's broesel hud version 2.5
I use 2.7 now, which looks like this
http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/903252542595138216/EA128CC079183BE83D6F7DCF378481AC93B65A9F/
konr wings is built into broesel hud now, so it's really easy to use
I could upload it if you're really having difficulty, but it's probably better for you to learn how to do it yourself.
I have tried doing it myself like 1 million times XD, and btw what resolution is that?
asaptf2asaptf2I'm using broeselhud with 16:10 and 1680x1050, but I can't figure out how to actually get the crosshair in broesel with 1680x1050, is it impossible?, and btw I can't get me resolution to 1920x1080. Help?If you're using the latest version of broeselhud (2.7), broesel included the wings in the hud. Just open up hudlayout.res and scroll down to the last crosshair entry that should be titled wings or something like that. Then set visible to 1, and increase/lower the size by changing the font. Hope this helped!
I'll try it! Thanks![/quote]

How exactly do I change the fonts? I know I'm a noob. XD
