GazPendjiDo top-tier players really need to be fucking tipped for playing a game? You'd think they'd go out of their way to do it themselves if they truly wanted to go.
This community funded the new PC of a russian player so he can fuck off and play Overwatch and you are ranting about the top teams crowdfunding their trip to TF2 LANs so it doesn't become too much of a financial burden for them, considering the prize pools.

Dude, I stream speedruns on a 0.5 upload speed.
You can easily stream using something like 1000-1100 bitrate with no downscale.

Oh I remember playing this on the 72hr jam for TF2Maps.net.
A lot of people thought there weren't enough hp packs me included, hopefully you've improved that.
You should totally playtest this for 6v6 or HL, might have potential as the sightlines are looking decent.

People new to comp might not be willing to help expand TF2's competitive side and just want to play against people of similar skill.
There are a lot of High and Prem teams that can enter this and have a healthy tournament with a reasonable amount of teams.
I mean if experienced players can't even bother signing their teams up for something that might be potentially good for TF2 why should low level teams sign up?
