DisplayPort or Dual Link DVI
I highly doubt your laptop has a DisplayPort port, but if it does, there's your ticket.

Hi. I'm ingin. And I'm back. Spent a few seasons in IM and haven't played a real season in the past few years. Some of you may have seen me as blackdiamond. Just took a new job and it allows me to come back, so here I am. We'll call my skill level Mid.
What the hell was that? lol
mthsadalright, thanks for your help guys. any recommendations on backup methods? I have a lot of data on my drive I don't want to lose.
Since you've already installed the new mobo, your options are limited.
1)Put the old mobo back in so you can access the Windows backup features (provided it even works at all)
2) Clone the drive on a different computer
3) Buy a new drive to use as your primary drive, reinstall Windows on it
4) I can't think of anything else.
As someone who ONLY does MGE, DM and pugs, I'll throw in my $0.02.
MGE:
Pros: Great practice for soldier, great practice for demo (if using pipes), great practice for scout (movement)
Cons: Not really great for point-and-click TF2 because of the automatic reload. The time it takes to reload 6 scatters means a lot more to your game than most people care to admit. Plus, no one wants to play against a fully buffed scout jumping on and off a platform the entire time.
DM:
Pros: Great practice for any combat class regarding accuracy.
Cons: Terrible practice for any combat class regarding movement. 4 out of 5 times you're going to get killed/kill someone by shooting them in the back when they're not trying to avoid you.
Pugs:
Pros: Best practice for dm IMO. In-game setting, not a lot of cohesion on the team. DM means everything.
Cons: Unbalanced teams, being on a team with Trademark.
well I got people on Facebook with it.... Fuck you Lange... <3
This morning more than 30 trucks filled with 5-cent coins arrived at Apple’s headquarters in California. Initially, the security company that protects the facility said the trucks were in the wrong place, but minutes later, Tim Cook (Apple CEO) received a call from Samsung CEO explaining that they will pay $1 billion dollars for the fine recently ruled against the South Korean company in this way.

Personally, I think you're on the right track given you're going for a build-on-a-budget. These guys are spot on regarding the 2gb card, though. I'll be honest though, don't sell yourself short on a case. One thing I've found with cases is that you *usually* get exactly what you pay for. I just upgraded to this one (a little out of your price range, I understand) and it is honestly the best case I've ever had... and I've only been using it for an hour.
