Yeah this is true, it was my fault for not reading the fine print but I stated why I didn't. Now I know and it'll never happen again and hopefully more people will know now so they don't get burned as well.

This is just bullshit. It's frustrating. When you click the button it says "Pay for 1 month of premium" not "Subscribe to automatic payments month to month". It throws in the automatic payments on the bottom of the page in smaller letters of course. Or when paying for another player it comes up in a gigantic pop-up wall of text that would take you an hour to read through. When you're rushing to get players signed up to get into the server you don't really have the time to read the fine print.

Yeah I know we need more relevent threads which help the community like "Should I take methamphetamines while playing TF2?" or "Blase pls".

Yes i've been posting a bit more than normal but it probably seems like more because I don't usually post much unless it's something I need help with or something that can help others. Not trolly amusement which is 3/4 of the forum.

It just caught me off guard because I had to do it in a rush initially prior to the match, and in the past i've done it just off paypal funds from past winnings. Like I could understand putting my account on automatic renewal but when paying for others I don't think that should be the case. And if that's their intentions they should make it clear when paying for others that it will be automatically subscribed to my billing even though it's not even for myself.

I've had a server for a while now but i'm not too savvy with configs and all that. If anyone has some premade configs setup that I could upload to my server i'd appreciate it. Also any other suggestions you might have to improve the performance.

I have an NFO and my team has been complaining about the rate settings apparently. I'm not even sure if I have a whitelist setup. Mausy put soap and mge on there that's about all I know. And i've uploaded a few maps.

I know i'm half retarded but i'm absolutely sure others have run into this issue before. I wanted to make others aware though to prevent it from happening again in the future to anyone else.

It really is my OWN stupidity for not reading the fine print, I do have an excuse however..

Early last season tic and cringe couldn't pay for their premiums for esea minutes before the match. So I shelled out the money and put them both on my debit card and did it as fast as possible because we had a game to play. I didn't read the fine print in the user agreement that says "It will be automatically renewed". Now I could understand being automatically renewed for myself, but when paying for OTHER players? It just baffled me and made me angry. I paid 4 months of premium for both of them while they wondered why they weren't losing their access without paying. I finally realized it after getting text messages on my phone once any transaction is done.

So for anyone who is a nice guy and helps people pay league fees etc. with their debit/credit cards.. Be aware that you're automatically going to get billed unless you manually cancel the subscription through paypal. I never knew that, some people did, I guess i'm retarded but I got burned on it. Of course no refunds or free premium codes, nothing. I know it's my fault but I kindly suggested to the support guy to make a disclaimer larger telling people even when paying for others it will automatically renew. It only ended up being about $70 but it's still frustrating.

I don't really consider surfing playing TF2, it's still a cool video though and a cool feat. That's why I said "to each his own". If he enjoys doing it that much then it's awesome for him.

World record out of how many competitors? Nice map. You'd literally have to play that thousands of times to memorize all the twirls and moves. It's crazy how someone would put so much time into something like that but to each his own.
