so im trying to make a quick stv vs pov comparison for this admin that banned my buddy for this "sentry aimlock": https://youtu.be/nQLs_nT1Oig?t=1m25s (lmao i know) the guy doesnt know that replay/stv is different from a pov demo...
anyways i cant get stv to record. ive tried tv_enable 1 when first starting the game, then creating a server and tv_record <name> and it says sourcetv not active. also tried joining a regular server first. also tried tv_enable 1 when in the listen server and changeleveling back and trying to record. still same error in console "sourcetv not active"
any idea how to fix this?

borderline unplayable lately for me. I get Dallas games every time and 20 ping more than I would be getting to nfo dallas. It's a shame because this service is great in every way but if the servers have issues the whole experience is bad.
