can't open mp4 files in google drive

my friend sent me some videos and to save space on my phone (what i usually do) i upload them to google drive.
it has been working for the past month but now it decided to stop.
when i try to open up the file i get a message that says

"Unable to Open File"

anyone have a solution or any good google drive alts?
if it matters i have an iphone se, running ios 9.3.4
edit: i can watch the videos on my computer and the mobile browser just not the app. im just gonna call this a bug.

1600 for everything because i used to use 400 but i had a small mousepad at the time so i switched to 1600. just been used to it ever since.
1600 for everything, 0.9 ingame though.
