#2915 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization

All the round timers/server timer stuff fixed.
Still have the problem with some panels Garm3n modified in some strage way so that are invisible.
(such as buttons in main menu, mouse-over windows in the backpack, ready mode background,..)

#2914 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization
T0mcirloI've got the Garm3n HUD 2013 (old version) vibe. Again.
So I spent all today trying to update this 3years old HUD and I sucedeed in almost everything i'm interested in (MM & Tournament mode) but I have a few questions:
  • Why I can't see the server time left without tabbing? (Ye i have the command).
Is the interested part only in HudObjectTimePanel?
  • How do I lower a bit the respawn time?
    Show Content
I've already tried to change the ypos value in HudTeamStatus under "respawntime"
  • How do I make visible the background of readyupmode? (and ready check&rreadyBG too)
    Show Content
    This is my HudTournament: http://pastebin.com/c5ZWjG1s

can you please upload that hud?

I knew you would have liked it, T0m!

Anyway it's still has some weird bugs (main menu included), so i can't garantee you'll have a great experience with it. I can just tell you that i'm still using it and i still love it.

Please tell me what you think and give me some feedback.

I'd like you to reconsider using just team colors (blue&red) for those bands on the walls.
Other than that just go ahead with it cos it's perfect!

#2 nth freeze/stutter thread in Hardware

i dunno if it's related, but i've just started playing Mirror's Edge and after having played with constantly 60fps they suddenly dropped to 6/7 for a whole second half of the first level

#1 nth freeze/stutter thread in Hardware

Can someone help me? 2 weeks ago I've assembled a brand new pc and started playing with it. FROM THE START It happened -now and then- to have 5/4/3 seconds freeze and I can't understand why. My temps are ok (under 30°) and I've no other -apparent- problem.
Oh I sometime hear a *tick* from the HDD.
Specs:

Show Content
Windows 10 Education
i5 6400 2,7GHz (min)
ASRock b150M Pro4S mother board
AMD XFX R9 380 4GB
HDD 500GB Toshiba
8GB DDR4 Kingston 2400
500W Power Supply Evga

My experience with Windows is not flawless too. Sometimes some programs just freeze as if CPU/RAM usage was at 100% (but it never does). Useless to say this is not just a TF2/Source problem.
My first and only guess is that it's HDD's fault cause of that noise and the often 100% usage displayed in Task Manager. Is there a way to know if the problem is that? Do you have any other idea? Please haaaalp, it's very frustrating specially in multiplayer games.

#16 Huds you would like to see updated in Customization

Please update Garm3n SDX 2013 (old one). It is a really clear hud with original colors!
You can find it here with many other Garm3n HUDs.
This is a video with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3UyH-cvWV8

#12 nerdRage wins ETF2L Season 23 in News

I'm not trying to say it's still viable. During the last 2 years many things changed, and i'm aware of that.
I'm just not 100% sure that Epsilon'strats could work because there weren't decent skilled opponents.
I take the view that in the last few years people mind changed (more than the playstyle itself) bringing to a more precise gameplay born from a keener attitude toward developing team strats/reviewing demos (something that lacked 2 years ago to most of the teams, broder included according to zebbosai's interview).
Obviously this more precise and accurate playstyle necessarily brought to a slower paced game and -for some- less entertaining.

#9 nerdRage wins ETF2L Season 23 in News

I guess I confused the offensive playstyle with the less big-advantages-dependant defensive one, then.
Every time i see KnOxXx play I see him trying to capitalize on every little adv. he can get. The line between defense and offense becomes thinner and it's hard to give the playstyle a name but it's certeinly a more entertaining to watch.

smziOffene wins rounds , Defense wins tournament, hopefully a lesson learned for Prem (except nerdRage)

For Epsilon it worked the opposite, didn't it?
Too bad that just a few brains that can successfully coordinate a whole team with an offensive strat, rather then the (apparently) easier defensive one.
