So lately while dicking around in mge, I don't know if it's me or the game, but some scouts just have faster strafes than others. Some seem really really slow, but some seem unnaturally fast. Is it just my eyes, or is there something more to it? (besides null movement script)

You can't really beat the goliathus.

Most people are going to suggest mechanical. Your price range is fine for the lower-range mechs. Look at boards from rosewill or leopold. Try to avoid the gaming brands, blackwidow, 7g, that one from zowie, and more.

As far as custom maps go, just because we have them doesn't mean we'll force you to play them. (We did force people to try quay :l) Sorry for any misunderstandings.
