#63 Fat shaming in Off Topic
RenhetremedyclorgI have a friend IRL that is transexual. She is still pretty fashionable, very indie looking, etc, but she is transexual. She takes a lot of hormones and dresses in girl clothes.

She keeps complaining about how other people make fun of her when she's working at her clothing store. I never comment on her gender - it doesn't bother me on its own, but sometimes there are times when I want to and I don't, because I'm her friend.

I personally think its pretty unreasonable to expect people not to shame you if you're transsexual, since it is an inherently unhealthy/ugly trait. I would never hate on anyone solely because of their gender, don't get me wrong - but, there are plenty of times when it does seem appropriate to shame someone and bring them back down to reality.

before you plus frag clorg keep in mind he thinks having gender dysphoria and being gay are choices
I just don't understand the comparison between gender dysphoria and being overweight.

#163 ESEA Quick Fix Ruling in TF2 General Discussion

Before it needed a buff to be viable and now it needs a nerf? You still need a highly coordinated team to pull it off, and even then you can still be outplayed or outskilled by a medigun/kritz. Quick-fix deserves this buff and it has added a new dynamic to medic to make them more skilled and fun. Sucks that it was banned before anything really came of the buff it received.

#31 ESEA S15 NA Open Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion

When I started playing tf2, open wasn't the place to break into the "scene". Usually new teams and players would go through cevo, twl, or stacking lobbies before moving into ESEA to compete. If you're paying money for a league, then you have to face the challenges. I remember when I started playing and boogie was stacking open with LG and they destroyed teams. If you plan to start in a league that is pay to play then you're going to have difficulties. No matter what team you go up against you'll have to beat them at some point in your career to move up, and most of the top teams in open currently can't really compete with the top IM teams. It'd be more healthy for the league for there to be a couple top teams in open then a few and the top teams to get destroyed in IM.
