when game understanding is largely derived from time and experience, yes, invite players (or at the very least players who have been around for a while) are going to have input that's largely more informed and valuable than somebody who plays the game at an admittedly really low level. I just got a samsung 997mb that does like 140hz off craigslist last month for 20 bucks, it's pretty much your only option. If you can't find any decent crts on your craigslist try looking at the ones for neighboring cities, I had to drive to one of the next cities over for this one.

450 is more than enough for a 6770 unless you're running some old shitty 65nm chip overvolted or something, 550 is overkill unless you plan on upgrading to some microwave oven gtx #80 space heater card in the future

graphics cards are practically irrelevant in tf2 anyways, the game's performance is near entirely cpu based so allocate most of the money there. If you're really trying to go the cheap route I'd look into buying some used parts off of pc forums. I got an i5 2500k with a really good board/ram for like 250 off ocn a while ago.

I'm only around on wednesday this week, new work schedule starts next week though so I'll be around every day after this thursday
