#38 ESEA map poll for s14 in TF2 General Discussion

vote out gpit, it's antiquated as fuck and the fact that gpit results can be readily discarded while predicting the result of literally any other map in the rotation combined with being readily identifiable as an "upset map" are probably signs that it isn't actually good despite being arguably fun to watch.

worst case scenario we just vote gpit back in if the other options are trash.

mghughlaurieno collide for demo and bosh for scout? dude literally died 400 fucking times in regular season lmfao

not sure if srs

I'm not sure if you're getting mad at me, but these don't reflect my personal opinion as was stated in the first paragraph of the article. Collide did get 1 vote if it helps you sleep at night; I didn't give him an honorable mention because at that point I would just be giving a list of nominees.

#1 Open Finals Prediction in TF2 General Discussion

Was going to write this yesterday, but I got caught up with other stuff (yay midterms). Gl to both teams, look for an end of season article sometime tonight/tomorrow.

Crunchy Bunch (#3) vs Playground Tactics (#4)

http://i.imgur.com/pcUVUOE.png

Here we are with a repeat of the upper bracket final, which left everybody with an oh so bitter taste in their mouth. Will the Crunchy Bunch be able to put on a better performance this time around and walk away with the title? I don't think so. The first map is cp_badlands, which both teams should be intimately familiar with. This should come down to overall team cohesion and I'm gonna give it to Playground Tactics on this one. Given the previous performances I've seen from crunch I don't think they'll be able to take this, but who knows maybe they've made leaps and bounds in these last few weeks. I'm expecting Rikachu to dominate the mids and insom and sonnnn to handily grab frags late in the fights. Playground Tactics wins badlands 5-2.

The second map on the other hand, cp_gravelpit, should be more of an interesting match. The last time we saw Crunchy Bunch on gpit, it was an upset in which they handed indust we trust their one and only loss of the regular season. I'm admittedly not too familiar with how both of these teams play gpit, so I won't try to comment on any specifics, but I'm expecting this match to be a lot closer than any of their 5cp matchups would be. Watch out for some aggressive forces by rekuso and some stupid sniper shots from insom/sonnnn. I'm giving gravelpit to Playground Tactics in a close 2-1 game just because I want to see them win it all. I'm a horrible biased writer.

Players to watch: Rikachu, insom, Rex, Rekuso
