If anyone's awake for this, Thaiger Uppercut has started on https://www.twitch.tv/teamsp00ky

Expect a lot of familiar asian players here. Notable players are Gamerbee, KSK, Shiro, Humanbomb, Gackt, Itabashi Zangief, Haitani, Jiewa, Goichi, Santarou, gootecks (as a player), and Marn. Lots of asian talent in here (plus gootecks) so this should give a good idea of how South East Asia and some other players are doing. I'm predicting GamerBee, Haitani, and Santarou as top 3.
Enjoy!
The winner of Thaiger Uppercut is Eita. 2nd place goes to Saunic with his marvellous Laura play taking out GamerBee in the process. Following GamerBee is Go1 who made an appearance at Final Round and has come to Thaiger Uppercut for them points. Rounding out top 4 is RZR| Gackt who is showing off his consistency as a fighting game player.
Edit: Apparently Dreamhack Austin also started today but I don't really know when. Looks like today was mostly just pools anyway.

Notably Snake Eyez and brentiscool have been sent to losers. Jwong, Ricki Ortiz, Julio, will2pac, alucard, PR Balrog, Chris T, Nuckledu, Hsien Chang, KBrad, Fchamp, Tampa Bison, and LPN are sitting comfortably in winner's side but with this many strong players in winners we're going to see many of them get knocked down into losers. Specifically KBrad vs. Hsien Chang is likely, as well as Nuckledu vs. Ricki Ortiz. We could also potentially see a runback between Chris T and PR Balrog, one which Chris T currently sits at 1-0 against Rog at Westcoast Warzone where he took it over Rog to win the tournament.
twitch.tv/dreamhackfighters will be the stream.
Expect the typical American players to show up like the WNF boys (Julio, Chris T), the EG gang, (PR Balrog, Ricki Ortiz, Justin Wong) and more like Nuckledu, LPN, alucard (minus Jiewa this time since he's at Thaiger Uppercut).
The winner of DHA is Justin Wong who is further cementing his place as the current top USA player. He dominated the series aside from a very close 3-2 match against FChamp's Dhalsim. Grand Finals was a bit of a wash with Jwong taking it over 2nd place Nuckledu very convincingly. Saionide rounds off the top 3, although at a crushing defeat at Nuckledu's hands.
Next week will be the Australian tournament and quite frankly with Stunfest being a week right after. I can see some South East Asian players making an appearance but any international level player will be at Stunfest most likely.
