feels weird to have most of the abilities when the ttk on guns is so low anyways. idk why youd want anything but a shield
also the low respawn time makes it feel really dumb and super chaotic. if there was a killbind id hit it every time i need to reload the lmg or heal to full or run across the map
Reno's last post about this is very clear. Alfa clearly crossed major boundaries and made someone he claims to have cared about feel totally awful. I don't see anything here that would make relitigating the entire case again anything but pointless and painful.
I don't know if Alfa's real life career should be impacted (I can see people not wanting to work with him for sure), and I'm sure that his parents shouldn't face threats.
I don't think it's a good look for him to try come out better from this by smearing Reno. If he wants forgiveness for his actions he needs to truly acknowledge the scope of what he did and try to seriously make amends for it, not keep attacking the person he hurt.
For people who have doubts, I would point to how much detail is in Reno's depiction of the assault vs Alfa's. He has to leave out a ton of emotional details that obviously factored heavily into what happened.
e: i know this was locked but in response to the dude saying this isn't an attack on reno, every single screenshot shared of them being friendly or joking was from before the 2023 reno post where she explains she was trying to do the bare minimum to keep the situation from getting worse. i really don't wanna put words in her mouth but im just saying again that the part of her original post titled "Why did I unblock him" refutes every point made in this new document published over a year later.

How on earth has the whole administration for our community league become so out of touch that the AC team is totally unaware of someone who might be cheating when there are videos of them cheating being posted on the only TF2 6s forum that gets used in NA? Is there no way for the division admins to pass on people they think might be worth investigating?
Seems like a total breakdown in organization like people have been suggesting.

TFTV backend has a kind of expanded BBCode that lets you add all the extra flags and class icons and stuff. Was pretty easy to figure out when I did it briefly

AC team is 1 guy who has to sort through 1000 awful reports a day. Maybe they expanded the team since last summer to help delegate some of the mind numbing work like finding and banning alt accounts as well as ppl playing with banned players in scrims etc. (yes 1 person had to do this as well as what people normally think of when they think of AC). So no, it's not some elaborate rgl ruse as to why this suspect player hasn't been banned. In reality, it's why every suspect player who happens to not be in playoffs isn't banned; they don't have the resources to even begin
investigations really.
Frankly, I don't buy this excuse at all. Cheating has been an issue in this league for how long now? How many years has it been a top issue for the players? I have lost count.
You say RGL has only 1 person working the cases? That looks like classic mismanagement of a league. For a "pay to play" league, only having 1 person on staff to ensure player accountability is beyond terrible. League fee money is being spent on the wrong things and obviously the league doesn't care enough to put the funds towards the cheating issue.
Can't blame an understaffed AC team who is putting in free time to police this. Its a league issue and they continue to fail the community but they always succeed in accepting the payments.
in season 5 all of the money brought in amounted to about $36k, and that was with like 40 more teams than we have now. That's like the salary for one full time minimum wage employee but obviously doesn't account for prize money which is the biggest expense. Where do you think RGL has money laying around to pay people to AC admin?

Anyone who knows Myles knows that he has been a stalwart of the tf2 community for nearly a decade now. Many will look back fondly on his evolution from canpfapn to the person he is today. It's my sincere opinion that canpnofapn would be a wholesome addition to any moderator team lucky enough to bring him on.
