TBH, realizing how I never practiced MGE or anything with serious intent for almost 4 years, only to drop that and then months later drop csgo again and being stuck playing MTG with people who actually can build decks that can do several things at once, then realizing that whatever you like to do you can’t do correctly such as drawing, writing, playing card games, first person shooters, fighting games, interacting with people, being a nice person, finding people that can actually be friends,all of those making you depressed and the best thing you can do is become a 2D findom (findom means financial domination) pretending to be Bea/Nessa/Allister from pokemon sword/shield or miyamoto Musashi from fate grand order, or medaka kurokami from medaka box, or mitsuru kirijo from persona 3 and then the pandemic happens and everything turns to shit economically actually gets me out of bed.

Yello Yello! it is your host of this thread, cre-8 here, and today I would like to talk about MTG along with my own homemade trading card game coming out next month known as Stick Battles with its first set being operation blazing kraken.

the first topic is discussing MTG, the game formats known as booster draft along with mini masters, and also its economy of cards. i wanted to discuss from this that ive never played mini masters and i only played booster draft once, which was yesterday. what i do know so far is that a card like Heroic intervention from core 2021 set went from $8 to $8.50 in a week. probably because it does this: 2 mana, one of them has to be a forest. its an instant that gives all your creatures hexproof and indestructible until end of turn. for 2 mana, this is a HUGE card to work with. to change the subject to my first ever booster draft, i played a black/red deck and played 2 of 3 rounds, winning 1 out of 5 games, almost won 2, but then it would be either 3 of 6 or 2 of 6. either way i left before the third round and the draft thingy took longer than i expected, but was still fun slightly.

now for my own card game, "Stick Battles: operation blazing kraken". this is the first set to be released publicly to the world, or at least the USA on the game crafter, which is a website i used to make the cards in the first place and they produce the cards too. they tell me i can sell the game in like 8 days from now, but i cant get my own copy of my product until november, so im gonna sell my product when i get my own copy of the product in the mail. i made rules for the game, which ill explain once i get the game myself, and i also wanna build an economy for the card game too. there are a total of 102 cards in the first set, and i also have a card making contest since yesterday that started from yesterday and will end on christmas. winners will get coupons for the first and second set booster decks (35 card booster deck). i also plan on writing a book on this game too, but idk if ill be able to finish it due to writers block most of the time.
