when you find a marth main in the afternoon who's gonna play in a tournament of around 33 people including yourself so you joke about putting the guy on your roster and then he legitimately accepts the offer AND wins the tournament. DEMOLITION PARTY HAS ITS FIRST MELEE TOURNAMENT VICTORY IN LESS THAN A FUCKING WEEK! LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

UPDATE OF SPECIAL IMPORTANCE: so im not sure where to draw the line in what im about to say as they said to keep it down low, but i found a falco main who has made me feel impressed after i put them on my team due to a tournament they were participating in last night. i have not felt so hyped and happy for my future in 5 years holy shit!

okay context i only played melee competitively before the tournament for like 3 days. got 0-2'd. almost got a game in losers round 1. also almost got a 9th place ice climbers main to be part of my team known as demolition party. sucks but we'll keep grinding. i played marth the entire way btw
