i7 2700k is ideal to stream with, or an amd higher than quad core. I don't think you should expect streaming room. At all. I am no expert, no am I claiming that my answer is absolute, but just from my knowledge; I don't think it'll be capable of what you want. It's still a rather solid computer to just play on, I would consider it regardless of wanting to stream or not.

I was working with UDK for a little while, but it's a lot to take on to build from the ground up and the guys I was working with I think have taken a long break. Not much has been updated or done on the project we were working on for a long time. I just got this random inspiration to make an FPS mod out of the Source Engine. Probably HL2:DM, but some great things can be done with HL1 from what I've seen. Who here has experience and/or would like to try this with me? I wouldn't say no to anyone who has other experience with code, sound, mapping or modeling. A lot of this is for experience, and could possibly turn it into something.

It'd be cool to get a bunch of people doing this. Kind of like a community made game.
