Not only does the change list look great, but you have got to love that Valve has added some commentary to the changes being made. It helps a lot to understand their rationale and understanding behind each change.

wolsnefreakinAs an employee at JSC, this stream is fake
What exactly is being shown on this stream? Is it just some pre-recorded footage with music on top?
It's an EVA from earlier this year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip77GoiF7f8
I'd first try installing an fps config to see if you can eke out any more optimization on OSX.
If that doesn't do enough for you, try installing a windows partition with bootcamp. Emulators mean that you're running OSX and Windows concurrently which is going to hurt your frames big time. I doubled my fps by running TF2 via a bootcamp Windows 7 partition + fps config.
flufCan someone make it so I never seen any threads with "overwatch" in the title
I was bored, so I did it.
Download here: https://github.com/corbinmuraro/tftv-overposted/blob/master/tftv-overposted.crx
Then go to your chrome extensions page: ( chrome://extensions/ ) and drag and drop the file.
Lots of good answers already, but speaking from experience (also have a 2011 MBP), installing a windows partition made my game run a whole lot better (doubled fps, faster load, etc.). The game just isn't optimized as well for Mac.
tsc, can you make the !bracket command in chat point to this thread? It's currently pointing to a bracket from the end of yesterday.
Looks like it was a mistake, the post just got moved to the homepage.
This survey is super well thought out, thanks for putting it together!
With that said, I really wish there was a question asking which tf2 community you found the survey on, it would be interesting to see the disparity in answers between communities.
