Edit: Damnit game I posted was just at the beginning of 2010 and now I have nothing to post.

Just short of that 18+ too :( It's a shame, it's the first LAN that's been close to me too. I could probably do the next one. Anyone from KW?
TF2 included in Greatest Esports list. Success.
Trekkiejerking off is probably the best advice in here
I might have to say it's the worst advice actually. Jerking off, especially to porn, which is the only way you jerk off I'm sure, will lead to a dopamine addiction. Essentially this causes your brain to believe that its fantasies are better than reality, and so you are taken out of the moment. It's why jacking off a lot leads to ADD-like symptoms. Next time you have a wack try and pay attention to how you feel after. You'll probably notice you're unfocused, feeling euphoric, kind of thing.
I used to have a huge problem with sweating and getting tense in both social situations and in video games. Both of which I've nearly completely overcome now by meditating daily. Just plain mindfulness meditation will help wonders. All you have to do it sit down comfortably, and breathe in and out. Most people like to focus on their breath, I like to focus on nothing at all. Whenever your mind wonders, just acknowledge it and bring it back to your breath/nothing. The purpose of meditation like this is to keep you aware and in the moment. You won't sweat, you won't be tense, your reaction time improves and your reactions are better. It even lowers your blood pressure, and some other crap I don't care about.
If you are looking for immediate relief and calmness, go along with this video.

I still do this before any matches to make sure I stay calm, and often do the breathing exercise whenever I die.

Thanks for this link. So much information to look at @_@
poopfist100% headphones. buds/iems aren't as good, especially at that price. defy's are a good choice or you could go for koss portapros (but they leak hella noise so if you need it to be quiet for others maybe not a good option.)
I get headphone hair though, which is why I'm wondering if there was any decent earbuds at the price. I have headphones for my PC, these are just for listening to music, etc.
VickMmghughlaurieyou need to refer 8 people before you can actually get any money
Really? I like how they didn't tell us this.
I don't know why you'd be surprised. It's like that with any online service in which you get payed.
I have $20-$40 to spend. Is there any earbuds that will be of decent quality in that price range, or should I just stick with headphones?
That corsair PSU Apollonius linked is also really good, although it's a tiny bit more. Trust me though, don't cheap out on a PSU or it can really screw you over.
I have this

Edit: This seems to be cheaper right now

Edit again: Scratch that first edit. I just read the reviews and apparently it's dying on everyone. I've had no problems with the first one I linked though, so it's worth looking at.
Water. Pretty much the only thing I drink.
All-talk was a great idea. Got to listen to tooth cheering us on when we didn't cap a single point.

Not 9pm thank you very much.
Thanks for the nice words you beautiful people.
If I wasn't broke I'd expand mine from 25 :D
thinkThe Decemberists - The Hazards of Love
Anything by The Decemberists is amazing.
I played demo/scout/everything for his UGC team for little while before it died due to people leaving. A couple players on the team had quite varying skill levels, but he was really patient with everyone.
He's literally always online. Like, always.
I'd like to see what level he can actually play at, since he's very knowledgeable about the game but hasn't really had the chance to play at a higher level. Give him some tryouts.
