#10 valve is replacing nuke with train for active duty in CS2 General Discussion
defyyeah you say that now, but they completely butchered train. it went from the classic version to slightly tweaked (which was ok) to a complete overhaul in the worst way possible. i seriously hope they don't fuck up nuke that bad....slight changes/fixes like they did with overpass is fine but thats it

Yeah I really hope that they don't butcher Nuke as badly as they did Train, but I think there is a potential for some real improvements. I guess I just think wishfully when it comes to Valve, it's pretty likely they'll completely fuck up Nuke.

A nuke remake would be cool. I feel like this will be terribly received at first, but once people learn to play the new train a bit better they will embrace it. As long as they make it well known that Nuke isn't permanently gone I don't see any issues. If they do intent to remove Nuke for the foreseeable future people make freak out.

#53 Exposing a 19K hour cheater/hacker -- Seven in TF2 General Discussion

When I scrimmed his team a few times last season I was pretty sure he was hacking. When you play against him, especially on sniper, he hits some insane shots really inconsistently. Having scrimmed his team probably 15-20 times over the course of about a month, he would have games where he basically did nothing and then he'd have games where he was hitting every shot and doing supremely well. Hell he would even have unbelievable variance on his skill across just lives in individual games. His gamesense also doesn't really seem to fit with his aim. He will stand in really terrible positions as sniper or will be completely caught out as scout but then he'll hit every shot to make up for it.

Obviously some demo reviews are in order, but seeing as he never is able to present demos to people when they ask for them I feel like we might be stuck reviewing a crappy STV demo, which makes proving things a lot harder.

#8 Looking for a csgo MENTOR in CS2 General Discussion

DM is king in silver. If you can out-dm the other team you will win 90% of the time.

Looks like there was another update that didn't really do anything right after this one

emkayI've also ran into a problem where my regular alias "emkay" is being used (by myself), despite closing the tab that had it open. I have to have 2 y's in my name just to get back onto the site again.

Ya I'm getting this too

A vote to restart option would be useful while the site is in development so we can keep playing if it breaks and you aren't on

God DM, pretty toxic. If you can deal with him being a retard in mumble and baiting your team his dm makes him a good pickup

If you're going to make a pro version I'd say a really good change would be mirroring the map properly

#49 is it ok to play comp at a young age? in Q/A Help
MR_SLINIt's hard to play comp when you don't have control of your schedule. When I was younger, my parents would randomly take my sister and I out to dinner or something, and I wouldn't be able to make raid times in WoW.

Once I went away to college and was independent I was finally able to make time for comp TF2.

I think TF2 is really good in this sense though. I know that the only reason I got into comp TF2 over CS originally was I could play a lobby or a mix only committing 30-45 minutes instead of 90 minutes. If you are on a team it might cause some issues, but as far as just learning the game it really fits into schedules a lot better than many other games imo

#35 is it ok to play comp at a young age? in Q/A Help

As long as you don't act immature nobody gives a shit how old you are. If they do then they probably aren't the kind of people you want to be playing with.

I feel like there should be a way to log in to Steam or some sort of verification so that idiots don't steal names or use stupid names. Probably not an issue now but once more people start using the site I could see it being a problem.

#1 Titanfall Season Pass free in Other Games

I don't really know how many people here still play Titanfall but I thought I'd post this anyway

Season pass is 100% free. Presumably it's for a limited time but I can't find a time period anywhere.
