AndKennethI think what's happening is you guys got really trolled.
We're having a good time spending 5 minutes laughing at how stupid his guide is whereas he spent an hour writing some shitty guide. If that's 'getting trolled' I'm fine with it.

Caval Also would having vsync set to OFF be the problem (it mentions something about keeping it off in the config but isn't vsync supposed to help with this kinda of stuff)?
Having VSync on will give you I/O lag, you basically never want it on in a competitive FPS. Everything will feel like it's lagging behind.

Anybody know if there's a way to force it to update your name? It seems to just use whatever the name you had was when you first showed up on logs.tf

Names may be a bit messed up, I’ll be putting something in place to request name changes but I won’t be doing it manually now. You can search on your community id instead, the big long number with nothing else in it.

This sounds about right, I get about 250-300 constantly running on max with the same CPU and a 780 Ti

Thoughts?
It appeals to pub players so seems completely reasonable to me that they would post it on the official site. http://teamfortress.com isn't meant to appeal to competitive players and the news section really shouldn't be used as an indicator of what our community should care about imo.
