oh! i love that brand! ( ゚ _ゝ゚)
get a puretrak, it will outlive you.
i'd have to say first time at ETS for sure, playing with dante, rick, tri and rline was a blast. winning the unofficial tourny, lots of chill people there, tons of booze, food and everything else in between. i always wanted to take a trip to canada, and all of that just for the sake of tf2 yeah that was definitely memorable. went to ets twice now, and i can say i'll definitely be there next year
gonna load these up in a few mins
vod for gpit is up arkon, gonna do another later
Edit : Willing to drop an extra $100, so i have $300 now.
the way i see it...
nice mechanical $120 (give or take) + mousepad $20 + mouse $50 = This will probably be a little over $200 after shipping also depending on what website you buy from + which brands you choose. maybe less than $200 but not by much. Your remaining $100 should cover a pair of headphones <--- $80 + zalman clip on mic ($8) or so, again depending on shipping that should cover it
like i said in my other post this is all preference on brands, the only price point differences you'll see are headphones + keyboard. everything else shouldn't be far off.
keyboard, i recommend filco majestouch 2. built like a tank this is around $150
mouse: the usual nowadays is between logitech, razer or steelseries (same with mouse pads typically) that really shouldn't be difficult to choose
headset, you can get a really nice pair of sennheisers (model pending depending on $)
so whats the gist of this 'project'
please elaborate
its hard to pin point this since it looks like you need all the basics...its all preference and you should really browse more threads since these pop up very often. easiest way to decide is to go off of what you used in the past, which brands you were fond of, a lot of hardware is pretty unique but some things are similar when it comes to shape/build/durability quality etc
a good mouse typically runs for $40 and under (maybe higher if new, or depending on brand)
keyboard...if you're going for a mechanical it certainly wont be cheap but it all depends on the brand as well this is at least $100 and up
gaming headsets are pretty meh, nowadays people usually go for nice headphones and a clip on mic or desk mic - again not cheap depending on brand(s)
mousepads? plastic or cloth pad, all different brands (typically steelseries, razer, puretrak etc) these are cheap but again go off preference of what you used before
i think this is better suited for the ugc forums, i don't think the admins would have much desire to address issues related to their league through this post. or you could always reach out via PM on their website
Friday, and Saturday would be much more reasonable match times, and scheduling official UGC matches on these days would help the competitive community to grow,
i wouldn't count on this either, matches are typically played on tuesday, wednesday or thursday. no one really plays matches on the weekend, sunday is more of a last resort. mondays are a toss up as well. hope this helps...
brownymasterNormally I'd say wtf why u bump this, but I never saw this before.
agreed i haven't either, also the call out on drmtc from 32hz cracked me up. 10/10 bump
kirbythis thread makes me mad :(
