Derpusmeshuggah is really reptitive imo
ok either you dont play guitar or you dont have the ear for what they're actually playing, don't mean to sound harsh and im not some meshuggah fan boy but the last thing meshuggah is..is repetitive. the song structure alone is brilliant, and their time signatures are ridiculous. unless you're referring to the chord progression thats pretty far off for their style and sound
verizon fios by a long shot, second best option in this area (nj/nyc) is optimum online (cablevision)
try using this to see what options you have in your area
stickies all the time no matter what, pipes = last ditch effort
also for the love of god don't play forward just to set up a stupid trap that is more than likely not gonna kill anyone
people that care about chat getting spammed are beyond retarded, it doesn't matter at all ever especially for something as small as tf2 streams
this is why streamers like kripp get 15k viewers, he doesn't lose his shit when his chat is getting spammed he just tunes it out and ignores it because it doesn't affect what hes doing. when these terrible mods put on slow mode and timeout every single person they should wonder why the viewer numbers are going down, people are just having fun with it if they're still watching then who cares about the chat????
i guess its good for mods to be delusional and think they have any form of power over the internet because lets be honest these are the type of dorks that no one would take seriously to begin with
PapaSmurf3231.6 > csgo > css

nice list xen, cant go wrong with death, dark tranquility and warbringer. i love morbid angel up until their last album which was the biggest embarrassment in metal history. i was contemplating going to summer slaughter but i think they could've got a better headliner i ducked out with the fear of morbid angel playing a single track from their last album. i kind of regret skipping out on dying fetus, origin and decrepit birth but oh well
ShiftaTeapot_Steven Wilson is great, what are you on about?
nothing wrong with him or his music, but his influence on Opeth was not for the best
FWIW i saw opeth around 2003, had a chance to meet with mikael and when he talked about porcupine tree being one of the bigger influences for opeth he made it pretty clear that he was a fan of steve's band since they formed in the 90s, opeth has been experimenting with these new albums while i respect and love their work i'm not a huge fan of them anymore.
i haven't listened to them in quite some time since i lost interest after the album deliverance. still a great band but their new sound isn't really for me. when i did see them i was blown away, they really know how to put on a show. mikael also mentioned that most of the songs are 'strictly' studio songs, i asked him out right why he never plays "by the pain i see in others" and he simply responded its too hard to play live, and i can see that. i only asked because its one of my favorite tracks from them hands down
HellbentStill better than any lft IM thread I ever made

getting back on topic, most bands im into have been mentioned including obituary, eyehategod, carcass, immolation etc. a few others i've listened to for quite sometime would be nile, rotten sound, suffocation, cryptopsy(not 2013 without lord worm), meshuggah, emperor, electric wizard, dystopia, napalm death, hellhammer, bolt thrower, god dethroned, hate eternal, benediction, goatwhore, enslaved, iniquity, bathory, severed savior, mayhem etc etc etc
that should give you an idea, stoner/sludge is always great, straight death metal, grindcore, or even some hardcore/punk, crustpunk/anarcho black metal etc etc
i've been going to shows/concerts since i was 13, i've lost count of how many i've been to honestly...one of the first shows i went to was vision, hatebreed, shutdown, all out war. used to be a local spot by me that had a lot of hardcore/punk shows
one of the most memorable death metal shows i've ever been to was aborted, dew scented, vader, despised icon, suffocation, cryptopsy etc yes that was all in one show
i listen to everything, whether its punk, rap/hiphop, or just straight beats, metal isn't the only thing that populates my playlists. a lot of people hate metal that much is clear, but you have a band like nirvana in your last.fm which is good, but seriously if you come into a thread for people that clearly dig aggressive music and have bands like brandnew you should probably expect to get some flack jussayin man.
