Consolefaceit is a good place to start, though you're gonna get frustrated quickly if you're impatient as a lot of matches don't start after 5 minutes due to 1 person not joining or playing with younger immature players due to its free nature. I wouldn't recommend playing ESEA at first unless you're already paying for premium or have a few 1 week trials to try it out. Competition is a lot harder and people are a lot more toxic, especially in the lower ranks (around D- through C+). Grinding to improve your DM and map knowledge offline or in am/ffa maps will help you in general as well.
