I mean the shitty thing is that the number of low level players outnumber the high level players, and on the surface it seems like a simple "Oh slurs are bad so I vote yes for everything," so without the context of RGL being really shitty at enforcing their rules the low level players are going to make the yes answers majority no matter what. It would be nice for RGL to see what their high level players specifically think but I'm pretty sure everyone here knows why that won't happen...
Gritomafaceit is really expecting tf2 players to have more than 10 friends
I know this was a joke but its kinda hard to find ppl to recommend this to that haven't already gotten a faceit account lol
there are some pug runners that start jemond pugs before scrims but the only reliable places that pug before scrims are platypugs (cringe) and tf2center (beast)
I watched both demos and nothing seemed that suspicious to me. Just playing scout vs bad players tbh
honestly those maps are a really good variety for pubs, the only other map I'd add is process just so I can watch 7 soldiers on each team attempt the roamer rollout at the same time
It's a lot easier to accuse someone of cheating when there's a youtube video to watch like with mxr or feno. Demos are kinda boring to look through, even more boring to edit it together into an aforementioned youtube video.
That's great to hear and all, but are you still going to keep the broadcast exclusivity rule in regards to RGL streams? All it does is hurt the scene and force a potentially worse experience onto everyone if they want to see the match and no one playing in it is streaming.
How tf can they even justify it as competition? The people who watch aim casting a match are not the same ppl watching RGL cast a match. I really do appreciate the casters for RGL but it's fairly clear when I watch casted games on that stream that there aren't a lot of casters with high level experience, which is what I and a lot of other people like to see when watching a cast/stream. That's why invite players that watch matches like aim, zilly, etc. get so many viewers when they watch other teams play.
RGL has a great production value and visuals, aim gives great insight and knowledge on what's actually happening. They take up different spaces in the world of TF2 casting so idk why RGL is trying to punish aim, unless the admins just like making bad decisions and are doing it for only that reason.
ESEA is dead, RGL has taken it's place and has had questionable admin decisions according to many. Scout is arguably the most powerful class in the game, though demoman still deals the most damage. Soldiers are the most mobile but definitely the weakest class in the meta. The medic now runs at scout's speed if they're healing a scout so having a dedicated pocket scout to take ubers/catch the medic up to a bomber is meta. This relegates the other scout to play more on the flank, working with the roamer to do flank things. There are item whitelists that ban a few overpowered weapons, but most of the non-banned weapons are worse than stock, with the exception of things like the gunboats and the crusader's crossbow. I'm a fairly new player so I'm not sure how it exactly compares to 8-10 years ago, but that seems like a decent summary of modern 6s. If anyone wants to add anything else, please do so.
Also the map pool has changed a lot, with three KoTH maps currently in rotation alongside 5cp maps, which still reign king.
